Our History

In late December 2003, a spirit-led dream of Dr. Maurice Pugh came to life. That dream was to establish a church that would exemplify the ultimate church depicted in the New Testament, an Acts 2 church.

But the key to his vision was not just a religious gathering of people, but a body of believers who were genuine toward one another, genuine to their worship, and committed to sharing their faith with others to help bring unbelievers to Christ.

Pastor Pugh’s prayer became a reality on December 21st, 2003, when he and a core group of 40 adults and children held their first public worship service at an Arlington YMCA.  New Life Fellowship was born.

From our humble beginnings and throughout our journey as a church body, God has demonstrated through countless moments and exciting memories that both His faithfulness and His favor were upon us.
