Dr. Maurice Pugh
Dr. Maurice Pugh is one of Arlington's most respected community leaders. He is currently a pastor, non-profit president, and professional speaker. Dr. Pugh graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), where he earned his Ph.D. in Theology. As a student at DTS, he also served in the inner-city ministry with Strategies to Elevate People (STEP) Foundation and HIS Bridge Builders, where he worked with many of the local youth in the West Dallas community.

Uplift Community Development is a 501(C)3 founded by Dr. Maurice Pugh designed to bridge the gap between the church and the community. Since 2005 Uplift has gone on to assist its community in Youth Mentoring, Youth Tutoring, Holiday Baskets, Dad’s Clubs, and so much more!
